A famous destination of Crete is the beach of Kissamos, also known as Kastelli. Kastelli is located on western side of the island. Having arrived on the airport of Chania or on the port of Chania with a ferry, take the road to the west in order to reach Kissamos. The area combines characteristics that attract many tourists, such as beaches with crystal clear seawater, alleys in the small town of Kissamos that remind us of another, simple way of life. You will have the chance to see the stone-built houses and enjoy the peace of the gulf of Kissamos.
Although Crete has lots of places to visit, we suggest you just take your time and spend a couple of days in a traditional Hotel of Kastelli.
